The Arlington of Naples

Site Plan

Project Description: The Arlington is a continuing care retirement community located in Naples, Florida. Currently under construction, the complex will offer independent living in the form of both freestanding villas and apartments. Assisted living, skilled nursing and memory support will also be available at its on-site Health Care Pavilion, located in the north wing of the main building. The 39-acre site will be landscaped with lush tropical plants and context-sensitive building materials.

Status: Estimated Summer 2015 Completion

My Involvement: Served as interim project manager on the design development, construction documentation and ongoing construction administration. Key tasks included ongoing coordination (email, resolving design conflicts, conference calls, billing review, etc.) with architectural, civil engineering and MEP members of the team located around the country, as well as regular delegation of site-specific components to a local consultant in Naples.

Under Construction

After almost four years of planning, construction began in early 2013 on the independent living facility (shown above). Currently, the landscape package is scheduled for a first quarter 2015 installation, with the facility becoming fully operational soon after.
